Menu Item Settings > Icon
Once you activate the UberMenu Icons plugin, you will see the full set of over 400 Font Awesome Icons appear in your Menu Settings Panel
Setting an Icon
Navigate to the Appearance > Menus panel and click the Uber button to open the Menu Item Settings Panel for the item you’d like to add an icon to. Click the Icon tab on the left to access the Icon selection setting.
To select an icon, click the Set Icon button. The selection panel will open.
Type to filter the icons by their names.
Click an icon to set it. The chosen icon will display in the Set Icon box
Click Save Menu Item to save your changes.
The icon will appear to the left of you menu item text.
Removing an icon
To switch icons, click the icon button again and select a different icon.
To unset/remove the icon, click the icon button and click Remove Icon in the bottom right corner.
Save the menu item to save your changes.
Older Versions
Once you activate the UberMenu Icons plugin, you will automatically see a new option on each menu item in your Appearance > Menus panel.
Selecting an Icon
1. Click the button next to “Icon”
Originally it will say “None”.
2. Click the icon you want to display
A display of all available icons will appear. Hover over an icon for a brief description of the icon (the Font Awesome class name). Click the icon you like to set it for the menu item.
3. Your icon will now appear in the icon button
The text beside the icon described the icon but will not appear on the front end.
Save your menu to save the changes.
Your menu must be an UberMenu for the icon to appear.
Removing an icon
To switch icons, click the icon button again and select a different icon.
To unset/remove the icon, click the icon button and click “Remove” in the bottom right corner.
