Disable a specific menu item’s link so that it will not redirect when clicked.
Menu Item Settings > General
By default, every menu item will contain a link – an anchor with href attribute to a specific URL – which will redirect when clicked.
Sometimes, you don’t want an item to link to anything specific, or to redirect at all when clicking. In this case, you can enable the “Disable Link” setting in the menu item settings. The anchor will be replaced with a span which is styled the same but won’t link to another page.
When an item is disabled, if it has child items, the entire item will act as a toggle for the submenu.
